Please forward a link of this post to friends and family that may be interested in the two workshops; these workshops are open to everyone.
- April 13: Plant Diagnostics. Our region has its own particular issues: from bark beetles to iron deficiencies. This basic workshop will cover most common issues in our region and relate back to soil and landscaping issues covered in the previous workshops.
- April 27: Growing of Edibles in a Short Season. The farmer’s market is an excellent source of fruit and vegetables in the summer months. Our gardens can complement nicely if only we could get a head-start. This workshop will cover (organic and natural) best practices from local growers, tricks for season extension and more.
Workshops will be held at the McCall College, 106 East Park Street in McCall, starting 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13th and Saturday, April 27th. For registration, please contact the University of Idaho Extension in Valley County at 208-382-7190 or firstname.lastname@example.org. There is no set registration fee, but a suggested $7 contribution will go towards expenses. Please visit www.valleyextension.org/mg2013 for additional information.
Hope to see you there!
